Not the kind where they seem to feed your information into a backroom computer that spits out a 'yes' or 'no' based on who knows what? Consolidated Auto handles their own financing, no outside company to deal with, just sit down, and talk. WOW, that’s the way it had been done in our country and that way worked pretty well.

Great financing is not all you will find here. We have been on their lot four times now and not once did we see the typical used car salesman. Everyone is as friendly as Frank, the owner, just nice down to earth people. It was very refreshing.

Frank told me, especially since they do the financing, every car is thoroughly inspected and repaired before it is rolled out onto his lot. He said, "I have to be sure each used car is in the best condition it can be, because if there is a problem and someone can't get to work they won't be able to pay us." Makes sense to me, most dealerships farm-out the financing, they get their money right away, and if there is a car problem - too bad! You still have to deal with the finance company. A car dealership that is willing to finance each vehicle they sell says a lot about the trust they themselves have in the good used cars they put on their lot.

Frank's dad started this dealership in 1942; Frank grew up on this lot and has never wanted to do anything else. He told me generations of families come back to him over and over again. That also speaks volumes.
