Convert a gas VW Bug to Electric

Todd can turn any type of gas guzzling vehicle you have into an electric vehicle (EV) that is environmentally friendly. Todd says the reason most people want to do this is because they care about the environment, or they just don’t know how high gas prices will go, or because they want to keep their money in the US, and some just want it because it’s cool!

You can convert almost any type of car, truck or van. Todd say’s a manual transmission is best but not required. Just think of it, drop your car off for 3 weeks and after that you will never need a gas station again. Todd also supplies parts and services to the do-it-yourself EV owner.

Todd said he has always been fascinated by the thought of the electric cars and to that end he converted his own car (1984 Pontiac) to electric and bought a one seater pre-manufactured Corbin Sparrow (pictured on this page). He says he likes it because it is unique looking, but when you consider the fact that it is a one seater and cost $30,000.00 versus his large, comfortable Pontiac; there’s no comparison, converting is the way to go. Because you can take, for example, an air cooled VW bug and convert it for only $12,000.00

Todd told me an interesting bit of history; did you know that in the early 1900 most cars were electric? What is that saying, “back to the future”.
