Karen has worked in this shop for eight years and 5 years ago, when the opportunity to purchase the store arose, she jumped at the chance. Then she happily put her heart into remodeling the business, from the ground up.

The front of the shop made me think it was small, but it deceives you, this is a huge salon. The stations are beautiful, all made of knotty pine, and the décor is in earth-tones. It feels very relaxing, just what you want when you are taking time for yourself.

Karen said her shop is very family-oriented and they know their customers on a first name basis. Her salon clientele range in age from 6 weeks to 90 years old. She has even installed the cutest baby elephant chair - so the little ones can get their locks sheared and imagine they are off in Africa on a magnificent safari. Don’t forget to bring your camera, this is just too cute!

Karen said she is very proud of all the women she works with; Jenny has 10 year experience, Ashley has 6, Danielle has 5, Lori has 10, Tara 3, Liz 18 and not to forget Karen herself who has been in the business for 22 years.

This is a full service salon. Women’s haircuts are $25, Brow waxing $15.00, hair coloring starts at $60, and men’s haircuts are $18.

Special: Men’s hair cut and style on Thursdays $14.00

Karen also carries only professional hair care products that she would personally recommend and loves Redkin and Pureology, or Circle of Friends for Children.
