Christina started this market almost 7 years ago because she could not find wonderful fresh pita bread in the area and her family would have drive to California for it. She started small with her fresh pita bread and a few other items, and the business has grown by leaps and bounds! She said that she doesn’t think of her business as work because she knows her customers like family.

If you love to make great food, this is the place to go to buy those hard to find imported items for your favorite ethnic recipes like pickled garlic from Turkey; Ajka imported from Armenia; Greek peperoncinis; latencies and peppertizer from Bulgaria; Russian style dill pickles, just to mention a few.

Love cheese? She carries everything from Feta and goat cheese, plus French, Romanian, Greek, Bulgarian imported cheeses. Looking for jumbo Kalamata Greek olives or dried olives? Christine has them, plus many more varieties.

Christine said she is the only place you can buy imported Serjella Virgin Olive Oil, which is the original cold pressed oil. They also have grape seed oil, sunflower oil, and sesame oil. You can also buy fresh spices by the pound here!

Sweets (I had the pleasure of tasting the most amazing sweets flown in from Damascus.). She also carries exotic teas (Jasmine, Alwazah, Russian, and even Lipton), and almost every type of beans or pastas you can imagine are here for you.

They also have a meat market with any cut of chicken, beef, goat and lamb. All are Halal, which means the animal is killed in a humane way.

Oh, there is so much more to find in this wonderful store, including Middle-Eastern clothes and tobacco, you just have to go and see for yourself. You won’t be disappointed!
