Do not be fooled by the outside, as I admit I was. This restaurant is soooo nice inside. Double layered burgundy and white tablecloths and flickering candles in glass mosaic holders on each table. Twinkle lights are woven into the metal lattice work along the wall. I went in with two other women and I promise you…we just kept ohhhhing and ahhhhhing.

Now, I have to tell you about the delicious food. Barbara had Lasagna ($7.79) and Christina had Chicken Alfredo ($8.99) while I had Chicken Parmigianina ($8.99). When the food arrived our table went silent for quite a time - a sure sign of good food. We all thought our dish was the best, so we shared samples and everything was fabulous.

Then we all had a cannoli for desert. They were really great! Paula adds her own touch to the traditional recipe (shh, it’s Amaretto). By the way, within a week I was craving the Chicken Parmigianina, so back I went for seconds!

Paula told me all her recipes are authentic recipes from Sicily and there is no frozen food here…her food is from scratch. She told me she occasionally goes to other Italian restaurants and can not believe they charge two and three times her prices, she said, “It’s not as good as mine, it’s really not.”

I love this place, so don’t all of you come find it - no just kidding (kind of).

Monday night is Smooth Groove DJ, 8 pm -- Tuesday night is Comedy, open mike at 8 pm -- Thursday night is poetry and spoken word, at 8pm-- and Friday, of course, is karaoke at 9 pm.
