Voted 2007’s Best Neighborhood Sports Bar in the New Times

I have no doubt as to why Doc & Eddy’s was voted 2007’s Best Neighborhood Sports Bar in the New Times. This place is fantastic! Sean, the manager, has put a lot of thought into making sure that this is a place you will want to come back to, again and again.

As you enter you see a gorgeous bar, and several intimate tables. And, Happy Hour is from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. everyday with domestic and bottled beer $2, and $5.25 a pitcher. On the right is a cozy dining area, and the lengthy menu looks just scrumptious. (The Chicken Cordon Bleu Bites are marvelous!)

Just past the bar you enter into a huge expanse of fun, fun, and more fun! They have nine 9’ pool tables with free pool on Sundays, or free until 4pm any day, with the purchase of an entrée. Plus, they have air hockey, ping pong tables, darts, and a large variety of video games. It’s just one big play land for adults!

But, now let’s get serious...this is a sports bar and sports reigns supreme. This is one of the best layouts for sport fans I have ever seen. They have 38 large T.V.’s throughout the building, but most of them are grouped into separate areas, so the Cardinal fans can watch the game in one section, while the Packers fans can cheer in another, and the Steelers game is in another area. And all games are in-volume! (No more having to watch a great game with no sound!)

In addition, Doc and Eddy’s feature all the UFC fights on Pay for View. Sean said he has a great crowd for these events.

And, what a great place to book your large or small parties or events! Delicious food, rocking beverages, a great staff, and lots of fun things to do…your guests will be talking about it for a long, long time!

I love my job! Otherwise, I may have never run across Doc & Eddy’s, and that sure would have been my loss. Don’t make it your loss…stop in and enjoy!
