Tess, the owner, has been a seamstress for 30 years and has been in business for 14 years. She operates two locations, but mainly spends her day at the Indian School Rd store where she does all her alterations and dressmaking. The Dysart store also does alterations and is a dry cleaners, too!

She is a whiz at alterations and will make those new slacks fit properly, or alter that favorite dress you used to love, when you were a few pounds heavier.

In addition, she has beautiful wedding gowns, (prices starting at only $100!), with lovely beadwork and lace inlays, bridesmaid’s gowns from $99, and rents tuxedos ($65.99 and up). Her daughter is getting married soon, and of course…the gown is by Mom!

Her custom-designed dresses for your special occasions are lovely. But, please don’t miss her ever-changing sales rack of long gowns, prom dresses, and elegant evening wear… only $25 to $50!!!

One thing I noticed while I was there is that three customers came in to pick up garments and she knew them all my name (by the way I watched the reaction of all three and they loved her work). I asked her about this and she said she just loves her work and enjoys all her customers, and always tries to remember their names.
