Child Care, Day Care, After School Supervision

Yvonne and Bernard have owned child care centers for over 18 years. They have been at this larger location since April of 2008. Their staff brings many, many years of quality child caring service to you and your child.

You will find the Center to be brightly colored in hews of yellows, orange, green, and blues. Sponge Bob, Poo-Bear, Disney characters, colorful paint brushes, shapes and color spots, adorn the walls and furniture is just the right size for children.

Yvonne said a typical day starts with a welcoming smile when you enter the door. Your child is supervised while they have ‘free play time inside’ with blocks, coloring books, dress-up, trains, cars, trucks, or pretend to be a ‘chef’ in the play-kitchen. After play is breakfast (all food is catered in by Catertainment to ensure quality and nutrition at every meal) and then 1-2 years old have outside time, while the 3-5 they have fun with learning (colors, numbers, alphabet recognition and reading). Then at ‘switch time’ the 3-5 year olds get outside play while the 1-2 years olds come in for their ‘fun learning time’. By now it’s lunch for everyone. Then its nap time and late afternoon is filled with more fun learning, snack time and free play time until the magic moment when mom or dad arrive.

Yvonne also provides after school supervision for your older children. Their day begins with snacks and homework help, games, jump -rope, basket-ball, out-side and inside free time.

Good communication is necessary in order to help create this sort of atmosphere that is why each teacher communicates with the parent to let them know how their child’s day went and are always open for input from the parents.
