Robyn finally made her dream come true in March, 2007, when she bought this dog-grooming shop. Having 12 years experience in dog grooming at other shops, she had always hoped to open her own shop one day, so she could do things her way.

She told me that their name says it all… they have a passion for pets and a passion for what they do. Her main concern is your dogs’ well-being. Robyn explained that it is very stressful to a dog when it is rushed through the grooming process, so they prefer that you drop your little Skippy off and come back in about 2 to 3 hours. This gives them plenty of time to bathe, dry, groom and clip in a relaxed atmosphere, and time to play with them too!

Robyn has 3 other groomers who work with her. Val, Christy, and Denise have almost 40 years of combined experience in dog-grooming. The shop only uses all-natural products, some are even hypo-allergenic or medi-cated, depending on what your dog needs. They even provide your pet with their own toothbrush, which you can take home with you.

They said it is amazing how many of their ‘clients’ get all peppy and proud after they are groomed and “strut out of here like they know how cute they look”. Robyn explained she has kept the prices low so people will not have to put off having their pets groomed regularly.

This shop will also give your cat a wonderful bath and brushing, to take care of any matted-hair problems. Robyn said that that most cats do not need a cut, but some owners request ‘lion’ cut for their pet. (But, the jury is still out on what little Whiskers really feels about it!)
