Ted began this company in 1989 because he said he felt their was a very real need for an honest company to sell reliable used appliances.

He told me, "We disassemble every machine to determine whether with a complete recondition and some new parts will it be worthy to be in someone home? If the answer is 'yes we do the work but, if the answer is 'no', it goes into the recycle pile. I will not sell a substandard unit that needs to be put out of service. Every used appliance I sell automatically comes with a three month warranty (and some even longer than that)."

Our appliance prices are very, very, low; for example washers will start at $150.00, dryers at $125.00, refrigerators at $150.00, stoves (electric and gas) at $150.00, dishwashers at $125.00, and microwaves at $150.00

Ted said, "My customers constantly tell me no one carries products as nice as mine." Christina with our company, Darn Good Deals said after her visit to this shop, "Everything looked like it was brand new; I could hardly believe they were used."

Have an appliance that needs repair? A-1 will come to your home, 'same day service' at no extra change and even faster service for emergency refrigerator repair. Ted said, "Don't be fooled by companies, who say they remove the trip charge, once you have the work done, they just charge you a higher rate for their service. I am an honest retired military man and I charge a very reasonable price. The bottom-line on your bill is what you really care about and I promise you mine will always be one of the fairest you can find."

If you only want a new appliance and know the make and model number. Ted said he can get it for you, normally by the next day and save you a few bucks as well.
