I’m into aroma when you walk into a shop. So right from the start I liked this place. It was the mixture of old wooden floor, a touch of fragrance from the aromatherapy oils, and a hint of books to come. Ummmm…

I’ve been in a lot of used books stores where the aisles are cramped, the lights are too dim, and there is an undercurrent smell of old, musky books. Not so here! The aisles are more than spacious, the nooks and rocking chairs set aside for reading have wonderful warm lighting, and as you walk along the floor, there is the soft click of heel meeting real wood. Oh, so nice...

Now on to the real adventure - books, books and more books. Used, hard to find, out of print, and rare books…they are all here, by the thousands. And if you can’t find a particular book, just tell Melanie or Thom, the owners, and they will try to find it for you!

You can join a free book reading club, to read and discuss your favorite books in a special nook surrounded by knotty pine books shelves. (This is place is so user friendly they even say, “bring your own snacks”.)
