Before I mention Jan’s wonderful deals let me tell you she has a United States Post Office station in her store. This is a real US Post Office, so there are no extra charges and it is open SEVEN DAYS A WEEK.

Thrifty Joe's was chosen as the Best Bargin Bookstore by the New Times for 2009. Also, chosen in the November, 2009 issue of Phoenix Magazine as one of the 130 local spots to shop.

Jan buys and sells quality used Books, CDs, DVDs, Video Games & LP Records. With over 4,000 sq ft. and 15 years being in business there is definitely something for everyone in entertainment goods.

She estimates she has over 60,000 books with title on almost all subjects. Most books are sold for ½ the list price or less. Why pay full price for a new magazine when Jan sells them for a dollar and most are not over three months old.

For the record collector Jan has over 2,000 LP’s with an ever growing inventory.

With over 2,000 DVD’s you can find that title you are looking for. There are singles as well as boxsets of your favorite TV shows such as the ‘The Sopranos’, ‘24’, and the ’Simpsons’.

Choose your CD’s from a selection of 1,500 titles. Her music includes CD’s such as ‘Bob Dylan’, “The Beattles’, and ‘The Best of Cream’. And there are choices of classical, blues, jazz, country, easy listening and children’s titles as well.

You can find some of the latest video games at great prices as well as the old Nintendo, Super Nintendo and Nintendo 64 games

Thrifty Joe’s is well organized and the staff goes out of their way to help the customers. If you are looking for something, call ahead as her merchandise is inventoried.

Check out the sale rack on your way into the store. There are some really ‘Darn Good Deals’ on it.
